Weekly Summary Email
The Weekly Summary Email is a report sent to the Document Owner of each document within Handbook. This email provides an overview of the compliance status for each document the owner manages. It's designed to help document owners easily track the acknowledgment and compliance progress for key documents, such as company policies, safety guidelines, or training materials.
What’s Included in the Weekly Summary Email?
Each weekly email includes a PDF report that details the following:
- Document Name – The title of the document.
- Acknowledgment Status – How many people have acknowledged or signed the document (e.g., "34 out of 92 people have signed the Smoking Policy").
- Compliance Overview – A quick snapshot of how well the document is being acknowledged across your team.
This summary helps ensure that you stay up-to-date with which documents have been reviewed or signed, and which may need more attention.
When Will the Weekly Summary Email Arrive?
The Weekly Summary Email is sent out every Sunday at midnight EST. If you're not receiving the email, please ensure you're listed as a Document Owner for at least one document.
If you're still not receiving it, you may need to contact your IT administrator to whitelist our emails. Learn how here →
Who Can Receive the Weekly Summary Email?
To receive the Weekly Summary Email, you must be on the Advanced plan or above. If you are on a lower-tier plan, this feature is not available.
How to Change Who Receives the Weekly Summary Email
The Document Owner is the individual who will receive the Weekly Summary Email. If you’d like someone else to receive the report for a specific document, you will need to change the document owner.
To change the document owner:
- Navigate to the document you want to assign to a new owner.
- Update the owner to the appropriate person in your team.
Once this is done, the new Document Owner will begin receiving the Weekly Summary Email.

Viewing More Detailed Reports

To access these reports:
- Click on the Reports tab in the sidebar on the left-hand side of your dashboard.
- Here, you can view detailed insights and generate customized reports to better understand your team's engagement with your documents.
How to Stop Receiving the Weekly Summary Email
If you are the Document Owner but would prefer not to receive the Weekly Summary Email, you can easily opt out of these notifications.
To turn off the Weekly Summary Email notifications:
- Click on your profile icon at the top-right corner of the page (or the Settings bar on the left sidebar).
- Select Notifications.
- Uncheck the option labeled "Weekly Summary Emails".
After this change, you will no longer receive these weekly reports.
Summary
- The Weekly Summary Email gives document owners a compliance snapshot of their documents every week.
- Available only to users on the Advanced plan or higher.
- If you want someone else to receive the report, you’ll need to change the document owner.
- For detailed reports, go to the Reports section in the sidebar.
- To opt out of receiving the email, uncheck the Weekly Summary Emails setting in your profile notifications.
